DUVAL MESSIEN has 3 lightning counters :

  • Electromechanical lightning strike counter COMPTCCF03

The DUVAL MESSIEN mechanical lightning counter COMPTCCF03 records the number of lightning strikes passing through the down conductors of a lightning protection system. Fully self-contained, it operates without any power supply or battery, ensuring reliable, maintenance-free use. Easy to install, it mounts directly onto the down conductor without requiring any interruption to the circuit. The counter is supplied with two connection clamps for fast and secure installation.

  • Digital lightning strike counter COMPTDIG

The DUVAL MESSIEN digital lightning counter COMPTDIG records the number of lightning strikes as well as transient overvoltages travelling through conductors and earth cables. It provides reliable monitoring of electrical activity and contributes to the inspection and maintenance of lightning protection systems.

  • Horodated lightning counter COMPTEURH

The DUVAL MESSIEN Horodated lightning counter COMPTEURH accurately detects and records the date and time of lightning currents passing through the down conductor. It enables detailed tracking of lightning activity events on the installation. Supplied with its 3.6 V lithium battery, it ensures reliable data retention. Even in the event of a discharged battery or loss of display, measurements continue to be recorded and no data is lost when the battery is replaced.

These products comply with applicable standards.

Installation and maintenance :

1.This product can be installed in the load current power line (L, N line) above 500 A to monitor and record the surge voltage in the power line. It can also be installed in various surge protectors (SPD).

Online, monitor and record lightning strike (SPD) for lightning strikes.

2. the line that needs to be monitored must pass through the back of the counter, no direction limited.

3.there is a RST clear button on the counter panel to clear the data as needed.

4.this product does not need to be debugged. It is in working state after general access. When the counter is not displayed (3-5 years later) the counter of the same specification can be replaced.
